On the canvas, painted by Slovak artist Ľudovít Fulla in 1948, ceramic jug, originally created on the pottery wheel, turns in to asymmetric, nearly abstract object. I decided to materialise this jug in to a functional porcelain vessel. Purpose was to preserve unique deformation and colour palette, created by Fulla’s distinctive artistic approach.
