“F r a m E S“ is a series of ceramic hanging frames and objects. The frame delimits a certain area—a section of space—separates a piece of the environment from its surroundings, directs attention, adjusts, and highlights. Ultimately, it can frame even seemingly empty spaces. I perceive the frame as a space for the application of relief, structure, modeling, and color, serving as a suitable element for the non-traditional application of ceramic materials. Some frames were created using the technique of pouring porcelain into a plaster mold, while for the most part, I used extruding clay through a ceramic press. I collaborated on the works with Andrej Dúbravský, Jakub Gulyás, and Rita Koszorús.
